The Computer Vision Lab has launched several coding challenges to promote competitive learning and innovation. These competitions are primarily aimed at selecting students for the STAR-PNT Internship Program at the PNT Labs established by IIT Tirupati Navavishkar I-Hub Foundation (IITTNIF).
Smart Car Slot Extract
Summary: Build a model to extract car slots and classify them whether they are occupied or free in a parking zone. The input is provided in the form of a video and the applicant has to submit a code base, output with number of slots occupied and free and a technical report with detailed methodology.

Accurate recognition of plot numbers and landowner details supports land ownership verification, reduces disputes, and facilitates integration with property tax databases and spatial decision support systems. The input is provided in the form of an image and the applicant has to submit a code base, output with strings, characters and numbers and free and a technical report with detailed methodology.

Summary: Build a model to classify the GNSS signal data in two two classes as Line of Sight (LOS) and Non-Line of Sight (NLOS). The input is provided in the form of multi-dimensional GNSS signals and the applicant has to submit a code base, output with a confusion matrix with two classes and the performance metrics including detection rate, precision and accuracy and a technical report with detailed methodology.
